I have a modded NTSC-J Wii that I bought from Digital Mall, PJ in 2006 and now its semi bricked. I tried to play a Mario Kart PAL CD on Saturday and it was a big mistake. I thought it was a NTSC version as the outside jacket said so. Then I looked at the CD and it said PAL. Darn. Now I will need to fix the problem by downloading this repad ISOs to unbrick it. – Semi-brick fix discs for all three regions (updated)

I have the Nyko Charge Station for Nintendo Wii
If you have a Nintendo Wii, then you know how irritating it can be when the battery runs out on the Wiiremote. Instead of just using the default AA batteries on the remotes, try to cool Nyko Charge Station for Nintendo Wii. You can charge 2 remotes on the dock and it takes about 45 mins to get a full charge. Once its charged up, it gives about 6 hours of play during my tests since Nov 2007.
Removing and installing the new rechargeable batteries into your Wiimote is very easy. Just pop out the AA batteries, pop in the new rechargeable ones, close the lid and you are done. If you do not have a silicon jacket for your Wiimote, its OK. The grip cover give enough rubbery support even for slippery hands. The charge station goes for $39.99

Nintendo E3 2008 keynote update on Engadget
I will be keeping an eye out on the upcoming Engadget & Joystiq live from Nintendo’s E3 2008 keynote. I wanna see what Nintendo is going to dish out this year for us Wii fans.
The always-popular Electronic Entertainment Expo has returned to its roots this year, with the annual game show moving back to the Los Angeles Convention Center after a solo season on the sunny beaches of Santa Monica. Kicking off on July 14 and running through July 17, E3 2008 showcases several of the year’s biggest software titles from the industry’s biggest publishers. In addition, special tie-in events like Gamecock’s BE-3 Initiative and Activision’s offsite press conference will spotlight new software as well.
Octopus Catching Summer Sale – Wii PS2 PSP Sony Nintendo

Think about summer, think about the beach, the sea and all that fun! Play-Asia is a sea of popular games, movies, discs and toys, come catch your long time favorites and discover lots more, join the many happy swimmers, sun bathers and octopus catchers at the seaside this summer!
Get ready to hit the beaches as the Summer Sale will commence from this very moment onwards towards the 20th of July, all in stock items will be reduced by 25% (yes you’ve read correctly, a whopping 25%!), just spot our Summer Sales mascot, the octopus, on our many product pages and catch him.
The octopuses are running loose throughout the website and only stay on a product page for as long as it is in stock. Some products are restocked regularly so octopuses come back every so often while others have limited availability so the octopuses never return once they are caught.
To avoid disappointment, get your baskets and water tanks ready and catch them as quickly as you can spot them to avoid disappointment. This octopus catching season is only going to last for a couple of days, start catching now and save plenty of cash in the process.
Nintendo Wii Nunchuck controller goes Wireless
Thanks to Nyko, you don’t need to plug the Wii Nunchuck via cable on da Wiiremote anymore. It has gone Wireless.
It has full accelerometer support and it goes up to 30 hours of gameplay on two standard AAA batteries. That’s quite good since the Nyko Charge Station makes my Wiiremote play for only 25 hrs. Expect to see it on Amazon or your local store shelves in February 2008 for $29.99.
