I’m loving it over here. Met up with some friends the evening I touched down and they brought me out to The Balcony to show me how Mirians party. Boy, was I smashed or what. And it was only a Wednesday night!

I was at Trevi Fountain in ROME on 8 and 9 April 2006. Lovely. So many nice Italian girls. Too bad I did not throw any coins but I know I will be back someday soon….

The Trevi fountain was built by the architect Salvi in 1735 and decorated by several artists of Bernini’s school. It is the front of a large palace decorated with statues and bas-reliefs on heaps of rocks. The fountain is not only celebrated for its excellent water but for the legend that whoever throws a coin in the fountain, will return to Rome.

The Trevi fountain is at the ending part of the Aqua Virgo, an aqueduct constructed in 19 BC. It brings water all the way from the Salone Springs (approx 20km from Rome) and supplies the fountains in the historic center of Rome with water.

In 1732, Pope Clement XII commissioned Nicola Salvi to create a large fountain at the Trevi Square. A previous undertaking to build the fountain after a design by Bernini was halted a century earlier after the death of Pope Urban VIII. Salvi based his theatrical masterpiece on this design. Construction of the monumental baroque fountain was finally completed in 1762.

I think Xiaxue has gone to far and she says she hates KL. OK. If you just think so, then just shut up. The political tread between Malaysia and Singapore is already hanging on a thin line. Just don’t make it worst. I don’t usually write stuff like this….. but I want to give my 2 cents back to those bloggers who think just because their blog gets a lot of freaking traffic, they can talk without thinking.

Just because you had a good time in Thailand and not in KL, does not mean you can blast KL-lites just like that. There are a lot of decent people in KL. Like me. I am an international blogger and I’ve dealt with more people from around the world than you. You should behave. Someday, someone with a million botnets is gonna come after you and make you wish you did not start blogging…. There…goes my opinion. I could write something worst but what the heck. I have no time for some childish blogger.

And to Xiaxue..please stop starting blog wars. The one you started with Dawn Yang is getting pretty tiring. Read what xialanxue says about the blog wars
