I’ve been hosting my own domains for quite some time now at Hostgator. I have never tried bluehost but it seems that Jim Karter does not like them. He tried to add some domains into his account and he was asked for the EPP code. It looks pretty weird to me too……Have you ever had this problem at bluehost ?

Just after registration, when I tried to add my domains as “addon domains” to the account, bluehost started asking for EPP code for the domain. Now, what the hack? Why the hell in this world a hosting provider need the EPP for my domain? EPP is sort of an authorization code which is required to transfer domain from one domain registrar to other domain registrar. Getting EPP for each of my domain is a pain in the ass as all those domains are registered with various different registrar. It is so time consuming to get each of them. And I am not sure why bluehost even need them.

Duncan Riley was my ex boss when he started The Gadget Blog (TGB) way back in 2005. I was his first blogger for that site and I’ve been with TGB ever since. He has sold his stake in TGB to the b5media guys and he continues to brew controversial comments over his FriendFeed post. Louis Gray then hit back at Duncan and this is brewing a big bitchmeme everywhere. This kinda reminds me the time that 9rules guy ( Paul Scrivens ) took a swipe at me and the b5media guys supported me….Hmm….time flies.
