Yaro Starak shares a lot on affiliate marketing in his long post. You can learn from this guy since he made $4,400 from affiliate marketing in September 2007. Wow I say. Way to go. I really need to learn more on this too as I am currently leveraging on Nintendo Wii games to make some good sales.
I’ll be frank with you, the area I make money from affiliate sales, is a highly competitive one, and I would probably make about twice or thrice as much money if I was doing what I do in a different niche. Selling affiliate offers to people interested in making money online is one of the hardest markets to sell in because it is over saturated and people are very skeptical. Unless you are the Rich Jerk or John Reese, two guys with huge email lists of people who love to buy Internet marketing products, you will struggle in this industry.

It used to be pretty troublesome to add Adsense codes into your blog. You have to ad code on your Wordpress theme or all your HTML pages if you are using a normal website with CMS functions. That would have cost you tons of wasted hours. The Google Adsense team is making it easier now when you login that account. I saw the annoucement on the Google Groups at Inside AdSense.
We’re very excited to let you know about an upcoming feature that lets
you easily manage your ad units from within your AdSense account. It
isn’t live yet, but here’s a sneak peek so you’ll know what to expect
in the coming weeks. (We know many of you have been eagerly
anticipating its arrival.)This new ad management feature means that
your ad unit settings (such as colors and channels) for new AdSense for
content ad units will be saved in your AdSense account every time you
generate ad code. Then, if you’d like to change any of these settings
in the future, all you do is make the update within your account –
you’ll no longer need to manually replace the ad code on all of your
pages. For instance, you can quickly change the borders of all your
300×250 medium rectangles from red to blue with just a few mouse
clicks. Fancy! We hope that this new feature will help you save time
and will simplify the process of optimizing your ad units.As we noted
above, please keep in mind that the ad management feature isn’t yet
available in any publisher accounts. We’ll be rolling it out in phases
in the next few weeks, and we’ll follow up with another post at that
time to help you better understand how to use the feature. When you see

Yeap, its official. You can now embed video units in your Google Adsense to earn more money. Finally, their buy on Youtube has come with some substantial returns. Let’s see how good they monetize on my sites but as for now, I can’t see it when I login. Maybe not all the accounts are upgraded yet.

Simply embed a snippet of code and have relevant YouTube partner content streamed to your site. You can choose categories of video to target to your site, select content from individual YouTube partners, or have video automatically targeted to your site content. Companion and text overlay ads are relevant and non-intrusive. To further blend the YouTube player into your site, you can also customize the color scheme and layout as well as choose from three different player sizes. If you’re ready to get started now, sign in to your AdSense account and head for the AdSense Setup tab. Click the video units link and you’ll be on your way to setting up your first video unit.

I am pleased to announce the release of Prosense, an Adsense Ready SEO Wordpress theme that is jointly designed by myself and Daniel from The Wrong Advices. This plugin allows blog authors to enter their Google Adsense Publisher ID and have ads displayed on their own posts generating revenue. What this means is that blogs having multiple authors can now divide revenue on that site on a fixed ratio since their Adsense ads will be loaded as well.
Installing the plugin is easy. You can set the admin publisher ID and individual authors can set their IDs in WP-Admin itself, which ensures that there is no messy editing of files.
Admins can set the ratio of how much their ads are displayed to that of author ads. However, one feature lacking is to customize this ratio by user. Currently you’re stuck with a fixed ratio, so you can’t give your better performing users higher preference over others.

When a publisher who signed up for Google AdSense through your referral earns their first $5 within 180 days of sign-up, you will be credited with $5.
When that same publisher earns $100 within 180 days of sign-up and is eligible for payment, you will be credited with an additional $250.
If, in any 180-day period, you refer 25 publishers who each earn more than $100 within 180 days of their respective sign-ups and are all eligible for payout, you will be awarded a $2,000 bonus (bonus payouts are limited to 1 per year).
