New PRweb Contest for Bloggers
By admin | June 17, 2006

David McInnis, CEO of PRWeb has announced on the PRweb blog that they are offering USD $1000 to a blogger who lists all of their new features and trackbacks to their press release here
I think they are trying to make this the most Viral Press Release ever ! Arent they nice ? Press releases are normally boring stuff, if you ask me.
They’ve hinted the new features are between 1 and 10. How many is a good guess. You might want to check out the post to see what other blogs are saying.
Here’s some changes that I found being implemented after 10 June 2006 :
1. RSSPad.com, an exclusive RSS Feed utility from PRWeb. Add feeds instantly, optimize all your web content for online visibility through RSS syndication.
2. PRWebPodcast.com, the Voice of PRWeb. Enhance any professional PR effort with a podcast, optimized for search, and injected into iTunes.
3. PRWebPhotoWire, the Free Photowire from PRWeb. Connect your high-resolution media to your press releases, and gain SEO value in the process.
4. PRWeb Affiliate Program aptly named PRWeb Evangelist program.
The new PRWeb Evangelist program provides an industry-level Compensation program for promoting and facilitating PRWeb sales to their specific markets. Too bad not everyone can join and you need to email Mick Jolly, PRWeb’s Executive Vice-President, for consideration and compensation details.
PRWeb® has decided to use the power of the blogosphere to announce the new features that have been added to its press release distribution platform since June 10, 2006. These new features (there are between 1 and 10), have been added to enhance PRWeb’s distribution offerings. Rather than create a press release to announce all of the new features, PRWeb decided to have the blogging community help construct the announcement by utilizing its TrackBack technology. Hint: Within the following paragraph is a word that is key to identifying one of the enhancements. Don’t wait to get your entries in. You do not have to identify all of the enhancements at the same time. The first bloggers to identify any single enhancement may be quoted in the final press release announcements that result from this experiment.
