Christmas 2011 Presents : Sony Ericsson phones

I think this is the best ever Christmas. Apart from the holidays and good food, two new gadgets dropped by my home this week. Two new Sony Ericsson phones called Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc S and Sony Ericsson W8. The Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc S is in midnight blue, comes with a stereo hifi wireless bluetooth headset and the W8 was a safe black one with portable speakers + a Bluetooth headset too. The Arc S comes preloaded with Android 2.3.4 (Gingerbread) while the W8 has the older 2.1 version. I am eagerly waiting for SE to release Android 4.0 aka Ice Cream Sandwich next year March 2011 for the Arc S.

After playing with the Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc S for 2 days, I have migrated my SIM over to it from the old phone (Samsung Galaxy 5). I am still thinking how to move all my backup apps + data from the rooted Galaxy 5 Titanium App folder to the new Arc S. Probably will try doing it manually from a SD card reader first, though I may not be able to install the apps over at the Arc S since its not rooted yet.
