I’ve just created a 130 MB video file to be posted on my new wedding blog but I don’t have any conversion software to make it as a Flash file. So I tried searching online and found that many free Convert video online sites have a limitation of 100MB. Then at last I found at site at all2convert that does files up to 200MB. If it still does not work, I will need to buy a video conversion software and download to my laptop.

Be careful next time you receive an email with a PDF attachment. Once you open it, it will start to download viruses and malware.

E-mails containing malicious PDF files have been putting computers at risk since Friday, Finnish security software firm F-Secure said on Saturday. When such PDF files are viewed on vulnerable machines, they start downloading software from servers in Malaysia or Sweden, which are now being cleaned, he said. “There will be more such attacks.

An interesting read on how a SHELL interview is conducted. Very eye opening indeed. Kudos to the writer

Just a short note to say that once you’re successfully screened for face to face interview with SHELL, your academic credentials and results will almost play no part in determining whether you’re suited to be part of their team. During this interview and assessment session, your personality, inter-personal skills, presentation skills, communications, your ability to influence people, maturity and ability to work in a team will be assessed and if they prevail, you can be welcome to the family.

Updating my dell laptop now. From bios version a02 to a08 version. The laptop has been acting weird lately. It will sometimes have a blank screen during boot up

Just got confirmation from my Nokia source that the Nokia GPS navigation licence on my Malaysian Nokia N95 is actually  $112.89 (Singapore dollars). That works out to about RM86.54 per year if you get the 3 year licence.

Very cheap considering the other GPS products out there in the market. I might just buy it after I confirm the payment via Credit card on this phone is fool proof. They should really add a Premium SMS option to it instead of credit card payments.

Any of  you out there using the Navigation on the Nokia N95 or 6110 navigator?

After meeting Steven Wong and May at their seminar last Saturday in Crystal Crown, May from WPAdsenseMastery asked me if I could do an interview. I said yes and we wanted to have it at a local Secret Recipe cafe but it was not quiet enough. So we headed to my home and did an interview there. With her Sony camera and tripod all set up, she interview my wife, Michelle first. The camera decided to do some funny trick by moving the autofocus in and out. So I had to set it to manual and the camera lens stopped moving on the centre focus. My interview with May was much shorter than the one she had with my wife because I talked very fast. I will post the video up once I sort out the problems. Anybody know how to add captions to videos? Adobe ? Macromedia?

I wanted to use my Nokia Maps on the Nokia N95 to find a friend’s house the other day. Found the place and clicked on Show Route. Wanted to start the navigation but it requires a purchase over 3G or internet. I saw the figure and was wondering if it shows RM or USD. Anyway, I don’t mind paying $112.89 for a 3 year licence since that works out to about USD10 per month if that is the correct assumption. I’m still waiting for my Nokia friend to get back to me on this rate.
