Product Marketing Manager, Vontu, Inc. (San Francisco, CA)

Title: Product Marketing Manager
Location: San Francisco, HQ
Reports to: Director, Product Marketing

Vontu is seeking a strategic, results-oriented, experienced product marketing manager. In this position, you will define and execute product marketing strategy across multiple Vontu products and in the direct and VAR channel.

Responsibilities:

Key areas of responsibility include product and industry messaging, field and partner training, sales and partner enablement, demos, analyst activities, press activities and overall product marketing.

• Own product messaging across products and industries.

• Manage go-to-market launch planning for products and new industries and geographies to ensure successful, integrated launches. Lead cross departmental new product and market introduction team.

• Head up sales and partner training strategy and content delivery.

• Enable the direct and VAR channel field organizations with competitive sales guides, sales presentations, sales training, solution data sheets, demos, cost benefit analysis, etc.

• Work with product management, corporate marketing, sales and other cross-functional teams to maximize market awareness, market leadership, and customer satisfaction.

• Participate in meetings with prospects, customers, media, and analyst meetings.

Requirements:

Knowledge and Skills

• 5+ years experience with marketing and/or product management in software or services. Established track record with outbound marketing and field support.

• Knowledge of enterprise sales process and customer buying behavior for software.

• Established track record in spearheading successful integrated product launches with measurable results.

• Experience in enabling and training VAR partners.

• Experience building sales tools to drive competitive wins.

• Proven at presenting to customer executives and press/analysts.

• Strong analytical skills and passion for analyzing products, competitors, and market dynamics.

• Proactive style with discipline and will to set priorities, drive decisions and get closure on recommendations and issues.

• Security, networking, partner, channel, and/or international experience a strong plus

• Excellent and creative written and oral communication skills.

• Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment.

• Entrepreneurial spirit.
