A new gadget provides easy access to Outlook–your inbox, calendar and more–from within iGoogle (formerly Google Personalized Homepage).
The aptly named Microsoft Outlook gadget (which requires Office XP) lets you view and interact with your calendar, contact list, task list and inbox–even if Outlook isn’t running. However, because it relies on ActiveX controls, Firefox users will need to install the IE Tab extension and perform a few configuration tweaks (the gadget itself provides instructions).
