Happy Birthday Google!

Happy Birthday Google!

Google, you are the best search engine out there and I’ve been using you since year 2000…thanks..BTW Sept 27 is the Birthdate.

In just eight years, Google has almost single-handedly changed the internet, and especially the way we find websites. Sure, the old model of word-of-mouth still works (MySpace the most recent example), but Google made it possible for all sorts of little websites to gain lots of visitors, just by ranking well on the long tail. The fact is, the blogosphere would not work financially if not for all the search engine visitors, and we have Google to thank for that.

Congrats to Sergey and Larry, who have created a $100 billion+ company, made boatloads of cash, and continue to surprise us on a daily basis.

Singapore Blogger Bashing Malaysian Products

Yes. This is pissing me off. Darn Blogger from Singapore dissing off Malaysian products. Sheesh. Get a life. What does Singapore offer ? Country bashing bloggers ? Crap to me… And I don’t care who this blogger is …coz every minute I write on this post, I lose a lot of my income from problogging. but …Venting can be so nice sometimes

In order to defend Malaysia, I hope Malaysian bloggers will track down this person..The thing I hated about that post is the General Sweeping comments…Gabriel says ….”All Malaysian food products are made with and contain palm oil, which is one of the most unhealthy oils you can get.”

Well, there goes our palm oil industry and we’ve just lost USD30000000000 in business because of that remark. lol.

Sigh , here’s the page

Something on this blogger

Gabriel is currently an undergraduate in the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences in the National University of Singapore (NUS), Singapore’s Premier Institution of Social Engineering, having no money to seek greener pastures and lacking both the desire and ability to sell his soul. Prior to that, he was a slave in the Singapore Armed Forces. In previous years, he was a quirky student of Nanyang Primary School (NYPS) and the Raffles line of schools, and reviled where e’er he went.

he says ..

Malaysia – the Land of Poor Quality. Products made in Malaysia or produced for the Malaysian market tend to be of poor quality. I have gathered an extensive list of examples showing conclusively that this is the case. All Malaysian food products are made with and contain palm oil, which is one of the most unhealthy oils you can get. This is probably one of the reasons why Malaysian Dunkin Donuts tastes like shit, despite being alright outside of Malaysia. Hell, even the coffee creamer in Malaysia contains no cream, but instead a palm oil derivative. I find Malaysian A&W good, but this is probably because I’ve never eaten at a real A&W (those in Singapore probably had the same suppliers).
