Jam at Giant Hypermarket Bandar Puteri Puchong

Jam at Giant Hypermarket Bandar Puteri Puchong

What a lousy way to start the morning. Its National Day in Malaysia. Happy 49th Birthday to Malaysia. And how did I spend the morning ? I wasted 35 minutes queing up to pay for my 2 items (a laundry mat and prunes) at the Express Counter over at Giant Hypermarket, Bandar Puteri Puchong because of some mismanagement. I hope this comes out first page in the Star tomorrow just to give the Giant management a reminder that people don’t like queues…..

The problem why the queue was slow at Giant today is because they are having a promotion on certain items like Pampers and Darlie toothpaste. A lot of people just came to buy those items and somehow the POS system was not updated with the correct prices. They had 1 supervisor going around my 4 express counters trying to change the prices. Now that’s why the queue was longer than that in the Sunway toll !!!!! Crap!

The problem was only resolved when the supervisor rebooted the POS system. Darn. He should have done it earlier. I could see blood oozing out from his sweat as a lot of people were fuming over the long queue. I will NEVER ever goto Giant again on public holidays. I will visit either Tesco or Carrefour…..Man….The management at Giant has better do something about it……Dairy Farm people, are you hearing this ???
