Review monthly accounting checklists and hold appropriate one on one discussion with business counterparts to identify material accounting issues
Research as well as propose any resulting adjusting entries to the applicable subsidiary in concert with Technical Accounting team when required.
Prepare monthly templates for completion by subsidiary accounting teams.
Review monthly subsidiary variance analysis for accuracy, clarity and consistency.
Perform technical accounting research and analysis.
Provide information to the External Reporting team for quarterly earnings press releases, and quarterly/annual SEC filings.
Assist with reviewing these documents for accuracy and clarity.
Interface with local accounting teams to ensure/achieve consistency in reporting, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and other corporate initiatives.
Provide informal training to businesses on US GAAP applications and interpretations and accounting procedures.
Manage weekly or monthly meetings/conference calls with subsidiaries and other corporate departments
Participate and manage special projects and process improvement initiatives.
Direct contact with Tax, Treasury and Corporate Development teams.
Work closely with the external auditors to resolve open issues and compile information requests.
Perform related responsibilities as required or assigned.
Minimal travel required (10% – 15%)
Interface and direct contact with internal and external auditors.
Qualifications:
BS in Accounting or equivalent.
CPA required.
6 – 8 years accounting experience, mix private + public accounting experience preferred.
International experience preferred.
Detail oriented with excellent communication and organization skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel.
Ability to use Comshare or other consolidation software desired but not required.
Able to work in an international environment.
Able to be proactive in solving problems and developing creative solutions.
Able to manage multiple priorities and demonstrate flexibility as priorities change.

Lead the development of and be accountable for the timeliness and quality of business architecture for multiple business processes, which are supported by a
family of related software application systems, within a single Program or Business Unit. (Programs are enterprise-level efforts to build a defined

6+ years of relevant experience in business analysis, software development lifecycle management (such as RUP), and business process management; understanding
of architecture methodologies (such as UML diagrams); familiarity with tools (such as Visio and Rose).
