The celebrities, wearing black T-shirts, handed over a petition Tuesday denouncing the photos of Gillian Chung of the popular duo Twins. The stars urged the government to tighten laws on racy publications.

Man sought over changing room pictures of HK star – POLICE are looking for a man in connection with the incident where Hong Kong pop star Gillian Chung was secretly photographed in a backstage changing room in Genting Highlands, reported Sin Chew Daily. The report, quoting police sources, said no further details could be revealed, which included the nationality of the suspect. Criminal Investigation Department director Datuk Fauzi Shaari said the case has since been classified as outraging the modesty of a person under Section 354 of the Penal Code.
As a law graduate, let me inform you that under Section 354 of the Malaysian Penal Code, the accused can be sentenced to a jail term up to 10 years’ imprisonment and liable to fine or to whipping upon conviction.

Malaysia bans magazine over voyeuristic photos – Malaysia’s government has banned an issue of Hong Kong magazine Easy Finder featuring secretly shot photos of a pop star getting changed, and is considering prohibiting the publication altogether, a newspaper reported Wednesday.

HONG KONG: Singer files writ against magazine over peep photos – Canto-pop star Gillian Chung Yan-tung filed a writ yesterday against Easy Finder magazine for publishing photographs of her changing her costume backstage during a concert in Malaysia. Lawmakers also expressed their anger at the photos — which were classified as Class II indecent by the Obscene Articles Tribunal last week — saying they would bring the matter before the Legislative Council.
Phew – from the article above from Asiamedia, I’ve just read that Oriental Sunday ran photos of Galie Lai Kei-yi performing sex acts on Leon Lai Ming. Interesting. I can’t seem to find any pictures of this incident.
