I headed to KL (lowyat plaza) today to get myself a 19 inch monitor. Saw a good deal at Cycom for a 19 inch for RM800 then I spotted the price for the Viewsonic VA1912WB 19 inch Widescreen LCD Monitor at RM 900. Only RM100 difference for a widescreen. Darn. Why not go wide…So I paid and I headed home. The salesgirl gave me a Malaysian power cable with 3 pins as its comes with a standard 2 pin only (eu type adapter).

I got home, took it out the box and voila ! It works….Plugging it to my L2000 Asus laptop and switching it on was heaven. I love big screens. Now I can even play DVDs on it…..Too bad my laptop only supports upto 1280 as this Viewsonic VA1912WB 19 inch LCD Monitor can go to 1440 !

One more funny thing is that once I connect my analog vga cable to the hole at the back, I cant seem to close the cover anymore. Stupid design. Its probably due to the cable as its a big too fat at one side and the cover wont fit….Hmmm….
