As of today however, we’re pretty proud to announce that by this evening (PST) we’ll hit the billion IM mark! meebo’s sent roughly 1 billion instant messages since our first release . You guys really love to talk! The mark kind of snuck up on us — we didn’t even notice the number of digits until last week. It’s a great milestone for everyone and again, we have all of you to thank.

To celebrate, the team is working hard on getting the next release out as soon as we can. We’re really excited because we want to show you how much we appreciate the tremendous community effort we’re seeing in the wiki translations by offering localized versions of meebo. It’s been loads of fun testing it out and we hope you like what you see!
