SendStation earBuddy for iPod

This is nice. A casing for your iPod earphones.
SendStation is pleased to introduce earBuddy, the ultimate carrying case and the only safe place to store your iPod earbuds. Go Ballistic with earBuddy. Coated with sturdy ballistic nylon, this tiny, ultracompact case — it’s only the size of a jewelry box — can stand up to the everyday dangers of the urban jungle and those in the boondocks, too.
Meebo sends 1 billion instant messages
Another milestone for Meebo. My congrats to them
As of today however, we’re pretty proud to announce that by this evening (PST) we’ll hit the billion IM mark! meebo’s sent roughly 1 billion instant messages since our first release
. You guys really love to talk! The mark kind of snuck up on us — we didn’t even notice the number of digits until last week. It’s a great milestone for everyone and again, we have all of you to thank.
To celebrate, the team is working hard on getting the next release out as soon as we can. We’re really excited because we want to show you how much we appreciate the tremendous community effort we’re seeing in the wiki translations by offering localized versions of meebo. It’s been loads of fun testing it out and we hope you like what you see!
cheers!

GoogleBot deletes Blog Data
This is interesting. Got it from my friend, the Crab in Netherlands.
Josh Breckman, a content management designer. helpt develop a government CMS website. One day, the site was gone. When he looked at the logs, he saw onse single ipadress in the logs, pointing to googlebot. He immediately accused Google and stated that the google spider could wipe your website. A little bit research tought him a user pasted some content in there that contained an ‘edit link’ (button to edit the content). As it was in java and contained a delete button, the Google spider followed it and deleted everything. And these people call themselves Content Management Designers. They probably used Frontpage to create everything ?!
Going Pro as A Blogger
Just wondering on life today. If I get a blogging contract at Shiny Media, I’ll definitely go Pro as A Blogger…..Imagine. Me – a problogger like Darren Rowse or Duncan Riley. WOW…My previous post.

Shiny Media is a blogging network in the UK and I am thinking of applying for a position with them. It would be nice to earn some UK pounds…Everything is going up nowadays and the recent 30 cents in petrol price in Malaysia is tightening my stomach. ! And I would love to be in the company of their blogger, Katie Lee at http://www.shinyshiny.tv/
Thoggen DVD Ripper
Check out Thoggen is a DVD backup utility (‘DVD ripper’) for Linux, based on GStreamer and Gtk+.
Thoggen is designed to be easy and straight-forward to use. It attempts to hide the complexity many other transcoding tools expose and tries to offer sensible defaults that work okay for most people most of the time.
