It’s my wife’s first day working in the Technology Park Malaysia (TPM) area. She reached the place around 8am. She looked around the shops over there to buy their Daily Parking Coupons for RM3 but its not opened yet. Then she went over to the Enterprise 4 building but the shop over there is also not opened yet. What a crazy first day for her. Here she is worrying and nervous about her first day and scouting around for a stupid parking coupon makes it worst. What a waste of time too…
With so many high tech IT companies around that area, why can’t the TPM management implement a more feasible and convenient way to park a car ? Simply ridiculous. Mind you TPM is supposed to be a incubator for IT innovations and here they are, still implementing a “dinosaur” parking system.
No wonder Malaysia still has low internet broadband penetration compared to Korea and Japan. WE can’t even get rid of the parking and traffic jam woes….Sheesh.
We still have a long way to go for Vision 2020. And can someone please ask TPM to change their parking system to something much better .. like SMS parking ? This is a wake up call for the TPM management !!!
And don’t get me wrong. I love Malaysia and the food and the cool IT stuff we get to buy over here. But isn’t technology there to make our life more easier so that we have more time with our families?
