
Last week, Intel was supporting HD-DVD (along with Microsoft), Blu-Ray’s competitor. This week, Intel says that it would show some love to Sony’s Blu-Ray if it interacts well with PCs. In short, Intel loves whatever might help sell more processors (understand living room PCs) and dislikes anything that might remotely compete (Sony’s Cell Processor and PlayStation3).
Frankly, when it comes to optical disc formats, who cares about what Intel says?
