I bought my first crystal bracelet yesterday (Sun 10 July 2005) at Sunway Pyramid from a shop on the lower ground floor near the Chicken Rice Shop. I had taken my aura photograph on last 18 June 2005 but did not bother to get any crystals to enhance my health and wealth.
Anyway, my wife got a peridot bracelet (green) too and it looks very compatible to my gold coloured citrine bracelet. Let’s hope this enhances my health and wealth. It should also be worn on the left side as it’s where to energy flows from.

Citrine
Citrine is claimed to be good for the kidneys, colon, liver and gallbladder. It can help with digestive disorders and heart tissue regeneration. Some claim that it can prevent self-destructive tendencies by raining your level of self esteem. It is a crystal that is a imagined as being like a good friend that encourages you and gives you self-confidence. Its emotional qualities are optimism, hope and warmth. And crystal lore says that Citrine attracts good fortune and abundance.
This is a form of quartz that has a yellow coloration. It gets its name from “citrus” (Latin) a citron (a fruit like a lemon) Much of the natural citrines may have started out as amethyst but heat from nearby magmatic bodies may have caused the change to citrine.
Citrine does not hold and accumulate negative energy, but dissipates and transmutes it. It never needs cleansing or clearing, and promotes chakra aligning and yin-yang balance. It stimulates mental focus, personal power and endurance, and helps promote optimism while dispelling fear and anger. Excellent for clearing the aura, and aligning the aura with the physical body.
Peridot
Peridot is one of the prettiest of all green gems, occurring in a color that is the epitome of grass green. Interestingly enough, the name topaz may have initially been applied to peridot, for it is found on the island of Topazos (Zabargad) in the Red Sea.
Gem peridot has been found in a handful of places around the world. In large sizes (10 cts. plus), Pyaung Gaung in Burma’s Mogok Stone Tract is most important. Faceted gems of hundreds of carats are known from this deposit. In the 1990’s, a new deposit from Pakistan’s Suppatt region was discovered, and this material is every bit the equal of that from Burma. In the US, the San Carlos Apache Indian Reservation supplies good material, but this rarely cuts gems above 10 cts. Peridot is also mined in China, Brazil, Australia and Norway, among other places. The historic deposit of Zabargad has not produced at all in decades.
Like other gems, peridot was believed to offer special powers to the wearer. Marbodei mentioned in De Lapidibus that peridot would dispel the terrors of the night: “If it were to be used as a protection from the wiles of evil spirits, the stone had to be pierced and strung on the hair of an ass and then attached to the left arm.??? In the Middle Ages, the belief persisted that peridot would dissolve enchantments and put evil spirits to flight.
